I have been creating and making art since my childhood. I grew up in Huntington Beach, Califronia and lived two blocks from the beach from birth to age nine-teen. We always had animals in our yard from chickens, goats, to a horse. This explains my love for animals and especially horses. I used to ride my horse every chance I had, and it was usaully around downtown neighborhoods of 'Surf City', as Huntington Beach is called. I went to the little church around the corner from my house called, Community Bible Church. I often invited my school friends from one block over who joined me on Sundays. I was taught about God and the saving power of Jesus Christ from a young age and accepted him as my savior when I was eight years old. My high school and college years I walked away from my faith and kept it at a distance as I pursued being an 'artist'. I found that I really truely needed my God back in 1998 when I had a vision of who I was following spiritually, and I was going down a dark path. I decided to give my life back to Jesus Christ and got baptized in the summer fo 1998. I put my art down for several years to seek what the Lord's will in my life. I married in 2004 and now have two beautiful boys, and a loving husband who also loves Jesus. I realized that my faith in God did not require me to give up my talents, but that I should use it for his glory and turn people to Jesus Christ, the savior of the world.

My experience and training are a combination of formal and self-taught techniques which include; drawing, painting, print making, ceramics, sculpture, and digital media. I have attended the Hartford Art School in Connecticut. My faith in God inspires me to create pieces which I believe reflect the beauty of creation or the spiritual search. My subjects often include horses, animals, nature, musicians, often Jazz musicians, and Judaeo-Christian symbolism.

I love bold use of color and capturing a moment in time in my work, as well as movement. Many styles of art have influenced me such as, surrealism, abstract expressionism and expressionism, classical, and many more. Music is also a factor of influence to me as I feel that it is also an expression of art and the different movements in music coincide with the movements in art.

This Gallery is consists of paintings, drawings, sculptures, and photos from the past when I was a single artist, as well as present as I am a wife and a mother now. My married name is Lopez. Being a mother and a wife has deepend my spectrum of creativity to what is important in my life and as it relates to faith, family, love, life, and the world around me.
